NIRJHARI, we are a group of women artisans who have come together from the villages of Jaipur, Rajasthan to form a company which was born on 5th March 2021, we are dedicated to empowering women through sustainable business practices. Our brand produces a range of high-quality textiles, home decor, and paper products that are handcrafted by women in rural India. These are crafted with care and attention to detail, ensuring that each piece is beautiful and functional. Nirjhari initiative is powered by AU Small Finance Bank and AU foundation and is implemented by PURE India Trust.

We aim to provide women with opportunities to showcase their talents and improve their livelihoods, by providing them with the tools and resources they need to succeed. We want them to become the heroine of their lives. Join us on this journey towards a more equitable world, and discover the beauty of products made purposefully.

Under the project AU Udyogini for group livelihood, we, at PURE India Trust, have been encouraging women from villages to come together to form a producer company to start their own business in their village and earn livelihood & due respect in the society.

For the same we provide seed funding, common facility center, business Skill training, mentoring, market Linkages, research, product selection, up skill Training, Exposure visits & other related support to make the selected women a successful entrepreneur in villages.

Nirjhari was started with the following objectives:

• Inculcate saving habits among the women
• Support women to become change leaders locally
• Habit of work together in a group to run a professional unit
• Building a brand image of handmade products by a group of rural women artisans
